How to: Delete a network component or resource from your computer.
Solution:
Right-click 'Network Neighborhood', select 'Properties', and click the 'Configuration' tab. Select the network component or resource from the list box, and click 'Remove'.
NOTE 1: The following task should be performed by an advanced user.
NOTE 2: Contact your administrator or next-level support before removing or deleting any network components such as adapters, clients, protocols, etc. Removing certain network components may cause your computer to be unable to connect to the network.
1) Right-click 'Network Neighborhood' on the Windows desktop.

2) Select 'Properties' from the pop-up menu. (The 'Network' dialog box appears.)
3) Click the 'Configuration' tab. (The 'Configuration' tabbed page appears.)
4) From the 'The following network components are installed' list box, select the network component or resource you want to remove from your computer.
5) Click 'Remove'.
6) Click 'OK'.
